Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to deliver and update training for Networks & Telecoms within the Rail Infrastructure team. You will liaise with seniors, keep training current with new tech, and plan material for internal and external clients across the UK.

Frequent travel with overnight stays is required. Role focuses on creating impactful training standards, supporting bids, and ensuring safety and quality across delivery.

Qualifications

• HNC in STEM or equivalent engineering experience.
• Experience developing technical training materials and teaching others.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities; able to work independently and in virtual teams.
• Experience installing and jointing copper or fibre cables.
• Experience with video processing and transmission systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and delivering technical training for Siemens Rail Infrastructure and other areas within Siemens Mobility.
• Creating and updating course material, including e‑learning content, to ensure alignment with new technologies and customer needs.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external customers to identify training requirements and deliver tailored learning solutions.
• Supporting the senior trainers with the development of responses to project bids.
• Championing safety, quality and continuous improvement across all aspects of training delivery and development.
