Job summary

Telent Technology Services Ltd in the Rail Division is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to shape new product ideas and design within our hybrid role, with some travel to Warwick or client sites.

You will lead end-to-end network designs, create detailed plans and BOMs, and mentor the team while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. The role leverages Cisco and Juniper expertise in a Rail-focused environment to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Senior Network Engineer with Cisco and Juniper experience, ideally in Rail sector.
• Lead network designs and deliver scope of work documents, topology diagrams and BOMs.
• Develop technical specifications and network architecture documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take ideas from the initial design stage through to production or installations.
• Draw up detailed technical plans for ideas and concepts.
• Calculate accurate cost analyses for projects and oversee deployment.
• Configure networks and test applications; liaise with vendors for updates and patches.
• Create and maintain system documentation.
