Job summary

Osiris Recruitment is seeking a Lead Railway Telecomm Design Engineer to oversee the design and integration of telecom systems for major railway projects. You will lead a team and coordinate with signaling, electrical, and software teams.

Hybrid role requiring international travel; 2-year contract; you will design network architectures, manage projects, ensure safety compliance and deliver robust, scalable telecom solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/telecommunications engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in railway/transport telecom and signaling systems.
• Project management experience with leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of railway telecom standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and planning of telecom systems, interfaces with signaling and control.
• Oversee project management from inception to completion, ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence
• Mentor engineers and technicians; allocate tasks and guide team development
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards across all designs
• Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders; drive integration with other subsystems
