Job summary

Keplar Group is seeking a detail-focused Document Controller for Rail/Civils projects around East London and the Essex border. This contract role requires managing technical documentation, submittals, and QA records to ensure compliance with Network Rail standards.

You will work with the project management team to maintain EDMS systems (Aconex, Viewpoint/ForSITE, SharePoint) and coordinate RFIs, queries, and approvals. Immediate start for experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Document Controller within Rail, Infrastructure, or Construction Civils.
• Proficiency with EDMS platforms (Aconex, Viewpoint/ForSITE, SharePoint or similar).
• PTS card is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage, archive, and track all project documentation, drawings and technical submittals.
• Maintain document control systems and project management electronic databases.
• Coordinate QA documentation, handovers, snagging reports, and health and safety files.
• Ensure all documents comply with Network Rail and client governance frameworks.
• Liaise with project managers, site engineering teams, and sub-contractors to process RFIs and approvals efficiently.
