Job summary

Ford & Stanley Group seeks a Competency & Training Manager to own competency management across the organisation and establish a new internal training school. You will lead governance of assessments, partner with internal teams, and ensure training compliance to support ISO audits.

The role sits within Quality and offers scope to build a centre of excellence for workforce development and continuous improvement across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business competency management framework.
• Develop and maintain competency matrices and workforce skills records.
• Act as lead assessor and subject matter expert on competency.
• Manage internal training assessors and external training partners.
• Design, implement and oversee the company's internal training school.
• Identify skills gaps, competence risks and lapsed training requirements.
• Establish processes for assessments and re-certification.
• Support audits relating to competence and training.
• Produce compliance data for senior leadership.
