Job summary

Expro Group is seeking a strategic leader to deliver Competency Assurance across assigned regions. You will develop competency strategies, lead training and capability plans, manage budget and performance, and champion a culture of continuous improvement across multiple facilities and business units.

The role requires significant leadership experience in competency or operational assurance environments, with the ability to influence across functions and geographies.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Significant experience in Operational and/or Competency Assurance.
• Proven management and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Competency Assurance Strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Lead the delivery of Training & Competency plans to support operational needs.
• Ensure effective utilisation of resources and monitor performance against plans.
• Track and report budget performance and impact across the organisation.
• Manage and develop a team of technical trainers and competency specialists.
• Oversee training needs analysis and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Promote the Expro Competency Programme and drive engagement across the business.
• Collaborate with groups and external bodies on competency initiatives.
