Job summary

Arcadis is looking for a Bridge Engineer to join our rail design team in York, delivering high-profile rail infrastructure projects across the UK. You will contribute to civil and structural design tasks, prepare drawings and reports, and work in BIM environments including Revit and Civil 3D, with mentoring toward Chartered Engineer status.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Student or Graduate ICE or IStructE membership.
Experience in bridge or structural/civil design in a consultancy.
Progressing towards Chartered Engineer status.
Experience using civil design software to prepare deliverables.
Awareness of BIM and Common Data Environment.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of civil and structural design across rail projects.
Prepare calculations, drawings, specs, and reports.
Work in 3D design and BIM environments (AECOSim, Revit, Civil 3D).
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver coordinated designs.
Attend site visits and surveys within rail environments.
