Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Assistant Civil Engineer to join the Civils and Structures team, based in the York office, on rail and buildings projects. You will apply and develop engineering skills while delivering quality designs for Rail clients.

You will work as a key technical team member delivering project tasks to meet budget and schedule, with mentoring toward chartered status and access to professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural engineering and relevant rail experience.
• Ability to collaborate with design and project teams across levels.
• Proficient with Autodesk or Bentley CAD software and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to deliver project requirements.
• Develop understanding of business benefits with Global Design colleagues.
• Complete allocated activities to meet budget, timeframes and quality targets.
• Prepare drawings, specifications and project documentation with accuracy.
• Assist investigations and analyses to support technical solutions.
