Job summary

InHealth is recruiting a Clinical Assistant in Oxford to support our CT and MRI services across two static mobile sites. The role is 36 hours per week over 3x12 hour shifts, with a focus on guiding patients from arrival to departure and assisting the Radiography team during scans.

You will handle administrative tasks, assist in reception as needed, and, once trained, cannulate patients. The role requires empathy, strong customer service, and flexible shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare environment or a passion to work in healthcare.
• Experience working in a customer facing role.
• Strong administration skills.
• Flexibility to working patterns.

• A passion for delivering the highest level of customer service.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment.
• A desire to learn cannulation.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure.
• Escorting patients to and from the clinical area, explaining the procedure and addressing questions or concerns.
• Completing pre-scan data protection/consent forms and health and safety questionnaires.
• Assessing and monitoring the patient’s condition after procedure and reporting changes.
• Entering patient data into the patient management system accurately.
• Managing administrative tasks within the department as required.
• Working on the reception desk, welcoming patients into the Centre.
• Learning to cannulate patients.
