The Imaging Department at Whipps Cross Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust, is recruiting for a Band 3 Imaging Assistant to join a busy team providing high-quality patient care across multiple imaging modalities.

You will rotate through CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Fluoroscopy and General X-Ray, working to support Radiographers and clinical staff to deliver a 24/7 imaging service, including weekend and extended MRI coverage.

Qualifications

• Supports Radiographers under supervision, providing patient care and imaging prep.
• Works across CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Fluoroscopy and General X-Ray.
• Participates in a 24/7, 365 service and extended MRI service.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for imaging examinations under Radiographer supervision.
• Schedule work for the Imaging department.
• Liaise with portering staff to transport patients safely to and from Imaging.
• Provide clerical and administrative support.
