Job summary

InHealth is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support the MRI department, welcoming patients, preparing them for scans, and assisting with reception and admin tasks. The role includes learning cannulation and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a busy diagnostic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting or patient-facing role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and administrative tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients from arrival to departure in a professional, courteous manner.
• Escort patients to and from the clinical area and explain procedures clearly.
• Complete pre-scan consent and health and safety forms where applicable.
• Monitor patient condition after procedures and report changes promptly.
• Deliver high-quality patient care and maintain patient-focused service.
• Enter patient data into the management system accurately.
• Learn cannulation as part of role development.
• Manage unit administration and related tasks.
