Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Banbury is seeking a Radiology Cancer Appointment Clerk to be the first point of contact for patients requiring diagnostic investigations. The role focuses on delivering a fast, compassionate, and professional service within the NHS Faster Diagnosis Standard.

You will book investigations, monitor urgent requests, and support clinicians and patients across the cancer pathway.

Qualifications

• Provide administrative support to Consultants, clinical staff and patients.
• Book diagnostic investigations and procedures and monitor urgent requests.
• Maintain radiology records accurately in CRIS and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Support patients by booking diagnostic investigations and expediting where appropriate.
• Monitor urgent investigation requests to ensure proper processing.
• Update patient details on CRIS/EPR and other trust systems.
• Rebook missed appointments in a timely manner.
• Liaise with referring teams for further information.
• Provide administrative support to consultants and clinical staff.
