Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Radiology Administration Clerk (Band 3) based at Horton General Hospital in Banbury. This permanent, full-time role involves day-to-day administration supporting radiology services and cancer pathways, booking investigations and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths required.
• Computer literacy essential.
• Experience in appointment booking.
• CRIS/PACS experience.
• Experience with medical appointments processes.

Responsibilities

• Book diagnostic investigations and expedite where appropriate.
• Ensure supporting information is available and action urgent items.
• Monitor urgent requests to ensure proper processing.
• Ensure compliance with RTT/FDS targets and rebook if needed.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRIS system.
• Update patient details on CRIS/EPR and other systems.
• Rebook no-shows promptly and manage cancellations.
• Coordinate patient notes from other hospitals as required.
• Provide admin support to consultants, staff and patients.
• Respond to queries from referrers, patients and other parties.
