Job summary

Saab UK seeks a UK-based Radar Instructor to support operator and maintenance training across our sensor systems portfolio, based in Fareham with visits to Gothenburg and customer sites worldwide.

You will develop educational materials, deliver courses, and contribute to technical publications while maintaining high safety standards. National Security Vetting clearance to SC level or the ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• Experience of radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Previous military experience or exposure.
• National Security Vetting clearance to SC level or ability to gain it.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Compile and respond to student feedback both internally and externally.
• Provide SMEs advice on system and software development.
