Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Radar Instructor to deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems at sites in Fareham, UK, and globally. The role includes developing educational materials and supporting publications, with travel within the UK and internationally.

Applicants should have radar/electronic systems experience, teaching ability, and willingness to travel up to 3 weeks per training event. National Security Vetting at SC level is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Previous experience in a technical customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and react to student feedback.
• Provide SME advice on system and software development.
• Support demonstrations, trials and other market growth activities.
