Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to deliver operator and maintainer training across sensor systems. You will plan and run courses at Fareham and other sites, supporting customer requirements and developing training materials.

The role requires security clearance (SC), willingness to travel internationally, and ability to work with Saab's stakeholders. You will contribute to technical publications and demonstrations, with opportunities to grow within Saab.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel UK/global.
• Ability to obtain or hold UK/SC level security clearance.
• UK or Swedish citizenship due to handling classified materials.
• ONC/HNC or equivalent technical qualification.
• Previous military experience or exposure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and react to student feedback.
• Provide SME advice on system and software development.
• Support demonstrations, trials, exercises and market growth activities.

Education

ONC/HNC level or equivalent experience
