Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people from accessing the support they need to live a valued life. We address poverty and disadvantage in communities through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, and related support services.

We operate nearly 200 services across England, supported by approximately 3,500 staff and volunteers. Annually, our services assist around 125,000 individuals.

About The Role

We are seeking a RAD Recovery Coordinator for the County Durham Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service, based in Peterlee. This is a 12-week structured program for clients who are abstinent, with a fixed term until 31st March 2026.

The service has recently been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC and supports adults, children, young people, and families across County Durham with substance issues. The successful candidate will align with our commitment to high-quality service delivery, community engagement, and supporting local priorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver recovery pathways and interventions, ensuring integrated and effective provision.
2. Create a positive, inclusive, and therapeutic environment within the RAD program, prioritizing client engagement and feedback.
3. Implement an evidence-based psychosocial program alongside activities supporting the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.
4. Manage a service user caseload, review ongoing care, and liaise with multi-agency teams, including families and significant others as appropriate.
