A leading organization is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to manage peer support and assist service users in achieving their recovery goals. Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people from accessing support to live a valued life. We address poverty and disadvantage in communities through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, and related support services.
We operate nearly 200 services across England with almost 3,500 staff and volunteers, supporting around 125,000 people annually.
As we integrate two large organizations, our systems, processes, and branding are still being unified. Currently, jobs are branded under ‘Humankind’, but full integration is expected next year.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will manage peer support groups and work one-on-one with service users to build recovery capital and achieve their goals. The role is based at HMP Holme House, an adult male prison.
We seek positive, motivated individuals capable of working with clients who have complex needs. Direct substance use knowledge is not essential but preferred; transferable skills are encouraged.
