A leading organization is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to manage a caseload of adults with substance use issues in Wallsend. The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based interventions and offers various benefits including generous leave and training opportunities.
Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people from getting the support they need to live a life they value. We address poverty and disadvantage in communities through mental health, drug and alcohol support, housing, and related services.
We operate nearly 200 services across England with approximately 3,500 staff and volunteers supporting around 125,000 people annually.
As we integrate our systems and processes following the merger, some branding and systems may still reflect our previous identities, such as 'Humankind'.
The North Tyneside Recovery Partnership, provided by NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with Waythrough from April 2025, is seeking a Recovery Coordinator. The role involves managing a caseload of adults with substance use issues, employing evidence-based interventions with compassion and professionalism.
The position is based in Wallsend with outreach across North Tyneside. A driving license is preferable but not essential, as public transport is available.
