Job summary
Total People is hiring a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Tutor to deliver classroom and workshop sessions in Manchester, coaching and assessing apprentices to develop essential skills for their apprenticeship. You will guide learners, run mock assessments, and ensure readiness for independent assessment, while tracking progress with employers and fellow tutors.
The role emphasizes embedding maths and English and meeting functional skills requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in coaching to support learning.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
- Proven track record of driving learner performance and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver knowledge through classroom and workshop sessions for apprentices.
- Coach, mentor, tutor and assess apprentices to prepare for independent assessment.
- Provide guidance, conduct mock assessments and track progress against KPIs.
- Embed maths and English skills and ensure learners meet functional skills requirements.
- Collaborate with learning coaches and employers to support apprenticeship progression.
