A leading transportation company is offering an exciting Project Management Quest apprenticeship for internal colleagues in the United Kingdom. This 18-24 month program provides an opportunity to develop essential project management skills and gain professional membership with the Association for Project Management. Apprentices will participate in a hybrid learning environment with support from Exeter College tutors and GWR mentors.
We are pleased to announce a further opportunity to take up a Project Management Quest apprenticeship. These apprenticeships are for internal GWR colleagues, and give learners the opportunity to gain new skills, knowledge and behaviours which can be put into practice in the workplace and are a great development opportunity. Study is mainly online through our education partner Exeter College. There is no change to your terms and conditions, and you study alongside your current role.
Start dates will be available in September and January.
This apprenticeship is aimed at colleagues who currently undertake project work and want to improve their approach. You will need to be working towards and achieve the following job role requirements before End Point Assessment:

You will work towards the IfATE Associate Project Manager Level 4 apprenticeship. There is the opportunity for colleagues to become student members of the Association for Project Management (APM) as the first step of professional membership. Further professional APM membership can be achieved based on professional and personal aspiration.
The 18 – 24 month programme will be delivered by Ofsted Outstanding Exeter College, through a hybrid approach with face to face and online sessions. Tutors from Exeter College will support you throughout your programme and prepare you for the End Point Assessment. You'll also be assigned a GWR mentor.
Apprentices without Level 2 English and mathematics will be supported to complete functional skills qualifications during the apprenticeship. Exeter College tutors have a strong track record of success working with apprentices on these programmes and will devise a learning plan to suit individual needs to achieve. Additional release from duty will be required for this.
Applicants will be required to complete an application form and if short listed, a short online briefing session and interview with the college tutor.
