Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a major power infrastructure project in Stafford. You will manage the commercial performance of projects from award through final account, working with delivery teams, clients and suppliers to drive value and control risk.

The role requires NEC3/NEC4 experience in civil/infrastructure sectors, strong cost management, CVR/forecast reporting, and a full UK driving licence. Hybrid working options and extensive benefits are on offer.

• Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) required.
• Experience administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts in civil/infrastructure.
• Strong cost management knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Experience producing CVRs, cost forecasts and reports.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of infrastructure projects across their lifecycle.
• Administer NEC contracts, including Compensation Events, Early Warning Notices and payments.
• Produce cost reports, forecasts, CVRs and commercial performance updates.
• Manage subcontract procurement, valuations, payments and final accounts.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities; provide contractual/commercial support to project teams.

Your new role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of major power infrastructure projects from award through to final account. Working closely with project delivery teams, clients and supply chain partners, you will ensure projects are delivered commercially successfully while identifying opportunities to drive value and manage risk.

• Managing the commercial performance of infrastructure projects throughout their lifecycle
• Administering NEC contracts, including Compensation Events, Early Warning Notices and payment applications
• Producing cost reports, forecasts, CVRs and commercial performance updates
• Managing subcontract procurement, valuations, payments and final accounts
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
• Providing contractual and commercial support to project teams
• Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders
• Negotiating and agreeing final accounts

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline) or experience equivalent
• Experience administering NEC3 and/or NEC4 forms of contract within the civil engineering or infrastructure sectors
• Strong commercial awareness and strong understanding of cost management principles
• Experience producing CVRs, cost forecasts and commercial reports
• Good knowledge of compensation events and early warning processes
• Full UK driving licence.
