Job summary

Utilise Recruitment Ltd. is partnering with a well-established infrastructure contractor in Northamptonshire to recruit a Quantity Surveyor responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects.

You will handle valuations, payments, budgets and forecasts, administer NEC contracts, and advise site teams on commercial risk and change control. A competitive package accompanies the role with progression opportunities across the UK.

Qualifications

  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience in highways, civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure or similar contracting environment
  • Strong understanding of commercial management principles and cost control
  • Experience working under NEC3 and NEC4 contracts
  • Knowledge of valuations, forecasting, variations and contract administration
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to travel to sites across the South, Midlands and wider UK as required

Up to £65,000 Basic + Package

We are delighted to be working with a well-established infrastructure and environmental contractor that is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a diverse range of projects across civil engineering, highways, environmental improvement, landscaping and infrastructure works. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently from a commercial perspective, working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects from contract award through to final account.

About You
