Job summary

Kier Group in London is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Building Solutions London team based in London. The role focuses on managing the commercial aspects of projects ranging from £5m to £15m, including refurbishments and high-rise re-cladding, with a flexible approach to hours and a standard 08:30 - 17:00 day.

You will work with customers, consultants and the supply chain, producing monthly forecasts, valuing work, and placing orders for materials and subcontractors, while ensuring

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar commercial role.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial resources to maximise project profitability and margins.
• Tender, evaluate and appoint subcontractors, and place orders for materials and plant.
• Measure and value work to support invoicing and supplier payments.
• Produce monthly VCRs and ELF forecasts to track project performance.
• Build relationships with customers, consultants and the supply chain to meet contractual obligations.
