Kier Group in Central London is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead on a major commercial office project from pre-construction through to final account. The role is site based and you will ensure the project delivers its commercial objectives.

You will manage cost reporting, subcontract procurement, and cash flow while overseeing the commercial team. Experience with Tier 1 environments and JCT contracts is essential, and you should be comfortable working in a private sector setting.

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering large 2-stage projects (£50m+).
• HND/degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial management and subcontractor procurement.
• Familiarity with JCT contracts and Construction Law.
• Strong monthly reporting and earned value analysis understanding.
• Team player who can work independently and mentor juniors.

Aufgaben

• Lead robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting aligned with project strategy.
• Manage and develop the commercial team, ensuring workload coverage and compliance.
• Maximise cash flow through control, measurement, valuation of work, invoicing and payments.
• Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks with Kier governance.
• Manage subcontract letting, negotiation and financial accounting, while fostering client relationships.
