Job summary

Kier Group in London is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Building Solutions London team. You will manage commercial aspects of projects ranging from £5m to £15m, including refurbishments and high-rise re-cladding, ensuring quality and profitability.

On-site role based in London with standard hours and some flexibility. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and the supply chain to meet contractual obligations and deliver strong financial performance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, clients and subcontractors.
• Organised and able to prioritise to meet deadlines.
• Experience in a similar commercial role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing commercial resources to maximise project profitability and planned gross margins.
• Tendering, evaluating and appointing subcontractors, and placing orders for materials and plant.
• Measuring and valuing work to support customer invoicing and supplier payments.
• Producing monthly VCRs and manage ELFs forecasts to track project performance and financial outcomes.
• Building strong relationships with customers, consultants and the supply chain to ensure contractual obligations are met.
