Zusammenfassung

Accent Group Limited is seeking a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to provide cost control across responsive repairs and voids contracts. You will analyse costs, valuations, and variations, offering clear financial insight to keep services well controlled and value-for-money focused.

The role requires coordinating with teams and contractors, challenging costs where appropriate, and supporting procurement to drive efficiencies while maintaining service quality and customer outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• A Quantity Surveying qualification at HNC, HND or degree level, or an equivalent qualification.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, schedules of rates, cost control and commercial management.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to review costs, valuations and supporting evidence accurately, as well as financial regulatory knowledge
• A good understanding of responsive repairs, voids and property maintenance, including relevant health and safety. (CDM knowledge and requirements would be an advantage).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and strong prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Confidence using cost management, housing or property management systems and other operational software.
• Previous experience working in housing, local authority or construction industry would be an advantage.
• The ability to travel occasionally to Accent sites and off-site meetings, with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

• Provide commercial support across Accent's responsive repairs and voids contracts, helping manage resources and deliver value for money.
• Monitor costs, review quoted works, valuations and variations, and provide clear financial insight.
• Work with colleagues and contractors, offering practical commercial advice on costs and risk, and support procurement activity.
• Help teams make informed decisions and improve repairs and maintenance services without compromising service quality.
