Job summary

Cardo Group, based in Northern Ireland, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our NI team. You will support commercial delivery across Reactive Repairs, Voids, and Planned Maintenance contracts, ensuring accurate cost control, financial reporting, and value maximisation.

You will work with clients, operations, and suppliers to maximise profitability while maintaining high service standards. Strong knowledge of JCT/NEC and SORs is essential.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Quantity Surveying with strong cost control experience.
• Experience managing valuations, variations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Proven ability to manage contracts (JCT/ NEC) and negotiate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of social housing contracts from tender to final account.
• Prepare, submit, and agree monthly valuations and applications for payment.
• Measure, price and validate works using client-specific SORs and CVRs.
• Control budgets, forecasts and cashflows; produce CVRs.
• Negotiate variations and additional works; administer contracts and ensure compliance.
