Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Manager - Aviation

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work on a high-profile aviation project in west London. The role involves managing contract commercial and cost activities, supporting procurement, advising on tendering and negotiations, managing post-contract activities, and ensuring compliance with client processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sub-programme contract commercial & cost activities for viability and appropriateness.
• Support procurement to achieve best value, develop delivery strategies, and assist in contract awards.
• Advise on supplier selection post-tendering or negotiations.
• Handle post-contract activities, including contract changes and claims.
• Maintain transparency and data integrity with contractors to minimize risks.
• Manage contractor notifications and potential liabilities.
• Evaluate cost impacts of delivery strategies and support the Cost & Commercial team.
• Oversee contract close-out activities in line with contractual requirements.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have experience with tendering, procurement, target price negotiation, contract change management in an NEC environment, and ideally airport project experience.
