Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor - Water / Utilities

We are seeking personable, enthusiastic, and energetic Cost Managers/Quantity Surveyors to join our UK Infrastructure team, supporting growth in the water/utilities sector and contributing to UK infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to Turner & Townsend’s 2025 vision
• Build professional relationships with clients and colleagues
• Administer contracts aligned with project goals
• Monitor, forecast, and report project costs accurately
• Manage cost variances and contract cash flow proactively
• Collaborate on project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives
• Manage contract changes effectively within governance
• Improve forecast and budget accuracy
• Provide commercial support to stakeholders
• Negotiate and finalize final accounts
• Lead teams and commissions as needed

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with contract management (NEC3, Option C preferred)
• Knowledge of cost management, change control, valuation, risk management, procurement, estimating, pricing, and reporting
• Collaborative approach and commitment to best practices
• People management experience
• Understanding of construction industry technical matters
• Degree in a relevant subject (preferred)
• Professional membership or working towards it (preferred)
