Job description

THE ROLE

My client, an established firm of PQS with a thriving London office, is seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join their City of London team.

You will have the opportunity to work on high-value projects across various sectors including residential, mixed-use, commercial offices, data centres, retail, leisure, heritage, and education. These projects may involve new build, refurbishment, or fit-out works.

The ideal candidate is an ambitious MRICS-qualified Quantity Surveyor with at least 2 years of QS experience, preferably gained with another PQS.

My client offers excellent CPD opportunities and promising career prospects.

THE COMPANY

My client is a reputable PQS firm serving mainly private sector clients. They are a sizable construction consultancy providing cost management and project management services.

THE CANDIDATE

• Chartered Quantity Surveyor currently working in a PQS firm.
• Minimum of 2 years PQS experience, covering pre and post contract duties.
• MRICS qualification or near completion (almost chartered candidates considered).
• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, RICS accredited.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Stable employment record.
• Excellent written and spoken English, strong IT skills.

Salary ranges from GBP 50,000 to GBP 65,000, plus RICS fees, pension, discretionary bonus, and other benefits.
