Job description

A highly regarded independent construction and property consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Oxford team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and career-driven Quantity Surveyor to work on a range of exciting projects across the commercial, education, healthcare and residential sectors.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will take a key role in supporting both pre- and post-contract duties, working within an established team on complex schemes across the South of England. The role offers clear progression opportunities, support towards MRICS accreditation, and the chance to develop within a collaborative, professional environment.

This position is ideal for a Quantity Surveyor with a few years of consultancy experience who is looking to broaden their project exposure, grow technical expertise, and advance within a well-respected, forward-thinking practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing cost plans, tender documents and procurement strategies
  • Managing valuations, cost reporting, change control and final accounts
  • Supporting contract administration and client reporting
  • Working closely with internal teams, clients and stakeholders
  • Ensuring accurate project documentation and cost control throughout
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a UK consultancy environment
  • Chartered (MRICS) or actively working towards chartership
  • Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills
