Overview

JOB SUMMARY: To lead the commercial activity on retrofit projects and provide commercial expertise, to ensure profitability and financial rigor.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead on Quantity Surveying activities on live retrofit projects.
• Cost control, invoicing & project management to ensure margin expectations are delivered.
• Find costs savings on projects, through tight commercial management.
• Manage overall cost plan on projects and ensure cashflow is maximised and project delivered on budget.
• Manage delivery and customer liaison on ECO & Green Homes Grant insulation installs.
• Ensure all payment applications are within budget and ensure best value is achieved.
• Carry out commercial analysis on live SMS projects and provide relevant commercial advice.
• Maintain project documentation and cost breakdown, to supply month end project figures.
• Support finance team in maintaining detailed cost / invoicing on live SMS projects.
• Assist in establishing client requirements and undertake feasibility studies.

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

• Experience of working as Quantity Surveyor in UK.
• Experience of energy efficiency retrofit projects.
• Understanding of key Microsoft packages.

Credentials, Qualifications or Experience

• Quantity Surveyor accreditation.
• Supervisory experience an advantage.
• Good Organisational skills.
• Ability to train and support staff.
