Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Quality and Performance Manager to join the Sizewell C team in Suffolk. You will own quality compliance, lead a team of quality inspectors and completion engineers, and ensure successful handover to the client.

The role reports to the Chief Engineer and requires CSCS, civil construction knowledge, and strong coordination with project managers and delivery teams. The position is based at Kier Main Compound, Off A12, Kelsale, Suffolk, with a 45-hour week and some

Qualifications

• Experience managing quality in construction environments such as civil infrastructure, structures or earthworks.
• Strong knowledge of civil design standards and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams and with clients.
• CSCS card holder and computer literate with good record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality inspection and control activities on site and own project quality and handover strategies.
• Manage quality inspectors and handover engineers while liaising with project managers, delivery teams and client representatives.
• Implement and ensure adherence to project procedures, specifications and quality plans in line with standards.
• Manage the Inspection Test Plans process and review quality documentation including Lifetime Quality Records and End of Construction Records.
• Deliver quality-related briefings and training, managing audits and surveillance programmes.
