Job summary

Kier is seeking a Quality and Performance Manager for the Sizewell C project. You will report to the Chief Engineer within the Technical Delivery Team to manage quality compliance and assurance and ensure a successful handover of works to the client.

Role focuses on overseeing quality, inspection activities, ITP management, and continuous process improvement on a major civil/infrastructure program at Sizewell C.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and practical application of quality management activities in construction.
• HND or Degree equivalent in Construction or related subject.
• Strong knowledge of civil design standards and construction methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• CSCS card and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality inspection and control activities on site.
• Own the project quality and handover strategies.
• Line manager to quality inspectors and handover/completion engineers.
• Monitor and inspect works for compliance to quality specifications.
• Develop or improve processes and procedures as per client requirements.
• Manage the Inspection Test Plans (ITP) process and associated documentation.
