Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking a Quality Engineer to monitor onsite quality against Nuclear Safety standards and project specifications. You will help identify non-conformances, coordinate with the construction team and suppliers, and support resolution actions to sustain high quality across Sizewell C packages.

The role requires CSCS and practical QA experience in civil/nuclear environments, with strong records management and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• HND/Degree or equivalent in Construction or related subject.
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of quality control activities.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor onsite works quality through inspections to ensure Nuclear Safety standards.
• Interact with construction teams, suppliers and sub-contractors to meet quality.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and assist in closing non-conformances.
• Collaborate with Client Project Supervisor on quality inspections.
