Job summary

Pertemps West Midlands & Worcestershire Perm Hub is seeking an experienced Quality Manager in Cannock to lead the quality function from the office. The role focuses on maintaining the QMS, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance across the organisation.

The successful candidate will oversee audits, investigate non-conformances, analyze quality data and collaborate with production, engineering, purchasing and senior management to elevate quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a Quality function in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards.
• Experience conducting internal and external audits and driving corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and leadership with ability to influence across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure industry standard compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and operations.
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are effective.
• Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, identify root causes and preventative actions.
• Monitor quality performance data and provide reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, purchasing and senior management to promote quality culture.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, policies and documentation.
• Manage supplier quality performance and supplier assessments.
• Lead customer quality activities and support during visits and audits.
• Train and mentor employees on quality processes and best practices.
