Job summary

W Talent are partnering with a fast-paced manufacturing business located in Alfreton, Derbyshire to recruit a Quality Manager who will own the quality function across the business.

This hands-on role focuses on Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001, continuous improvement and driving quality standards throughout the operation, coordinating with Production and Engineering.

The successful candidate will lead audits, manage non-conformances and play a key role in shaping processes and culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing with Quality Engineering/Management.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS.
• Experience conducting internal audits and managing corrective actions.
• Proven track record of driving process improvement and CI.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Quality function across the business.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure ongoing ISO 9001 compliance.
• Drive CI initiatives across manufacturing and business processes.
• Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to reduce defects.
• Develop and improve quality processes, procedures and standards.
• Monitor quality KPIs and use data to drive improvements.
• Lead internal audits and support external/customer audits.
• Manage non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Promote a strong quality culture across operations.
• Support SOPs and quality control improvements.
• Provide guidance on quality requirements to colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and process performance.
