PSR Solutions are recruiting a Quality Manager for a permanent position with a market leading client in the Civil Engineering sector. The role is based in the West Midlands, with a strong emphasis on maintaining and developing the integrated management system to ISO standards.

You'll lead audits, manage supplier compliance, support accreditations, and drive continuous improvement across production and projects, while ensuring adherence to BS EN 1090, ISO 3834, LOLER and PUWER.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Experience leading quality in fabrication, manufacturing or engineering.
• Expertise in EN 1090, ISO 3834, LOLER and PUWER.

Responsibilities

PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Quality Manager to Join their team on a permanent basis. This role with be based in the West Midlands Region.

Quality Manager Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage IMS: Maintain and develop the integrated management system in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Ensure Compliance: Meet legal and industry standards including BS EN 1090, ISO 3834, LOLER, and PUWER.
• Support Accreditations: Develop and implement quality processes, standards, and certifications.
• Conduct Inspections: Perform frequent internal quality checks and inspections on manufactured products.
• Audit Supply Chain: Conduct supplier audits to ensure incoming products adhere to quality standards.
• Oversee Calibration: Manage the calibration standards and systems across the business.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve product and production defects.
• Drive Efficiency: Examine ways to improve production, streamline operations, and boost efficiency.
• Support Projects: Partner with the Project Manager to implement business-wide improvements.
• Introduce Innovation: Bring new quality practices and innovations into the business.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by providing suggestions and feedback to Team Leaders and Management.
• Work to agreed timescales updating the Team Leader on progress. Maintain good communication with Team Leaders and Management at all times

Quality Manager Requirements

• System Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a quality leadership role within fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Technical Standards: Deep understanding of EN 1090, ISO 3834, LOLER, and PUWER.
• Audit Management: Strong experience managing audits, NCP and CAPA processes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, influencing, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• IT Literacy: High level of proficiency in standard IT tools and systems.
• Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different tasks and projects
