Are you a hands-on Quality Assurance professional ready to lead a growing team and drive real change in a specialist manufacturing environment?

An innovative and expanding manufacturer of highly regulated products is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to take ownership of their quality function. This is a unique opportunity to join a business that designs, manufactures, installs, and maintains its products throughout the full lifecycle, supplying into critical sectors such as healthcare.

The Role

As QA Manager, you’ll lead a small but growing team (currently 3 Quality Control Inspectors and 1 Technician), reporting directly to the Head of Operations. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance across all stages of production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll be working in a highly specialised sector where quality and reliability are paramount. The role requires someone who is proactive, collaborative, and confident in reporting to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the QA team, ensuring high standards of inspection and testing.
  • Manage and evolve the QMS to meet internal and external standards.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality across the supply chain.
  • Report on quality metrics and performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
  • Formal qualification in Quality Management (e.g., IQA, City & Guilds, Diploma).
  • Strong experience with QMS in a manufacturing setting.

  • Comfortable with reporting into senior leadership and driving change.
