Job summary

Green Folk is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function in a manufacturing environment. You will maintain and improve the Quality Management System, lead the Quality Team and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the business.

Reporting to senior leadership, the role requires strong knowledge of ISO 9001, proven people management and the ability to apply SPC, FMEA, 5S and root cause analysis to improve quality and metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001.
• Previous people management experience.
• Experience applying quality and continuous improvement tools such as SPC, FMEA, 5S and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support New Product Introduction activities, including testing requirements, FMEA reviews and production quality planning.
• Establish and maintain supplier quality requirements.
• Manage supplier audits, approvals and performance monitoring programmes.
• Support the resolution of supplier quality issues and corrective actions.
• Lead customer quality audits and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Manage and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain third-party accreditations.
• Develop, review and maintain quality procedures, standards and specifications.
• Ensure quality requirements are understood and applied throughout the business.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances, concessions, rework and scrap reduction initiatives.
• Monitor and analyse quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Utilise quality tools including SPC, FMEA, 5S and Root Cause Analysis.
