Quality Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join a growing team within a well-established UK manufacturing business with a global customer base.
The Quality Manager will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians, ensuring products and processes consistently meet regulatory, industry and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop the Quality Engineering and Quality Technician teams.
- Drive a strong culture of continuous improvement, problem solving and prevention.
- Manage internal quality systems, audits and ISO 9001 compliance.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventative actions using tools such as 8D and Practical Problem Solving.
- Monitor and improve quality KPIs and performance.
- Manage calibration, inspection and measurement systems.
- Develop and manage supplier quality assurance, audits and improvement programmes.
- Support APQP, PPAP and new product introductions.
- Ensure supplier and customer quality issues are effectively contained and prevented from recurring.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement and other key stakeholders to improve product and process quality.
Experience & Qualifications
- Quality Management, Engineering or equivalent technical qualification at Level 4 or above.
- Proven leadership experience within a quality function in Automotive, Aerospace, Engineering or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement techniques.
- Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
- Understanding of MRP/manufacturing systems would be advantageous.

Hours & Benefits
- 40 hours per week: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-13:30.
