Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Net Zero Teesside (NZT) project based at the Redcar site. You will report to the Site QA/QC lead, promote a safety culture and ensure compliance with project specifications and joint venture requirements.

The role requires experience in QA/QC functions, ISO 9001 knowledge, and relevant welding inspection qualifications, with interaction across suppliers and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a QA function or QC function with progression into QA via audits and CQI membership.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Familiar with welding inspection and non-destructive testing qualifications (CSWIP/PCN) and safety training requirements.

Responsibilities

• QC Inspector reporting to the Site QA/QC lead and promoting safety culture.
• Ensure quality standards meet project specifications and client requirements.
• Interact with construction teams and suppliers to verify fabrication and installation per ITPs.
