Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Quality Inspector in Redditch to join a specialist aerospace supplier. The role involves producing first-off and last-off inspection reports using CMMs and other inspection tools, and ensuring control of incoming materials and calibration processes.

Salary up to £35,000 with a strong benefits package. Candidates should have experience with CMM inspection, handheld measurement devices, laser measurement, and prior work in aerospace, automotive or defense

Qualifications

• Experience with CMM inspection.
• Experience using handheld measurement equipment.
• Laser measurement experience.
• Experience as a quality inspector or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Producing First Off & Last Off Inspection Reports.
• Conducting part inspections using inspection equipment (Keyence, Lasers, CMM, Shadow Graphs, gauges).
• Control of incoming materials.
• Control of internal and external calibration.

My client is a specialist supplier into a major Aerospace Manufacturer & they are looking to expand their quality department, with the addition of an experienced quality inspector.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Producing First Off & Last Off Inspection Reports
• Conducting part inspections using a variety of inspection equipment including; Keyence, Lasers, CMM, Shadow Graphs and various types of gauges
• Control of incoming materials
• Control of internal and external calibration

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience with CMM inspection
• Experience using handheld measurement equipment
• Laser measurement experience
• Worked as a quality inspector, quality engineer or in a similar role
• Time-served in Aerospace, Automotive or Defense Manufacturing
