Job summary

April Recruitment is working with a reputable client in Luton to recruit a Quality Inspector for a permanent on-site role. The position offers £36,000–£40,000 per year DOE and includes 28 days holiday plus a pension.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in a similar engineering environment, be familiar with CMM software, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. You will perform first article inspections, on-site checks, and generate FAIRs and, when needed, create CMM programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar engineering role.
• AS9100 quality standards experience is preferred.
• Proficient with PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality standards on site per AS9100.
• Perform first article inspection and final inspections.
• Operate precision measuring equipment including CMMs.
• Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
• Develop CMM programs when required.

Job description

We are working with a reputable client based in Luton (LU3) who require a Quality Inspector to join their team.

The position is a permanent role paying £36,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE).

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm or 8am - 6pm

28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + Peoples Pension.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Quality Inspector within an engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining high quality standards on site, set by the company in line with AS9100 standards
• Conduct first off inspections, patrol checks and final inspections
• Use a range of precision measuring equipment from gauges to CMM's
• Creating First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)
• Create CMM Programs when required

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar environment
• Familiar with CMM software
• Must be PC literate
• Excellent attention to detail
