Job summary

ReeVR is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team on a permanent full-time basis. The role runs Monday to Friday days, with an early finish on Fridays, and involves hands-on inspection using CMM equipment and precision tools to verify components against drawings.

You will perform goods-inwards and release inspections, monitor calibration, and support quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience inspecting aerospace components and documentation.
• Proficient with standard measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Use of CMM to complete quality inspection tasks.
• Perform final inspection and goods-inwards inspection of components, ensuring drawings are met.
• Work to daily inspection targets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and monitor calibration of inspection equipment.
• Conduct release inspection prior to shipment.
• Exercise independent judgement in quality-related decisions.
• Support additional quality activities as required.
• Use inspection tools such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges.

ReeVR are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our clients leading manufacturing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong inspection experience to contribute within a high-quality, fast-paced environment.

The Quality Inspector will meet the following key responsibilities:

• Use of CMM Machine to complete Quality Inspection tasks
• Perform final inspection and goods-inwards inspection of components, ensuring compliance with drawings
• Work to daily inspection targets, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain and monitor calibration of inspection equipment
• Conduct release inspection prior to shipment
• Exercise independent judgement in quality-related decisions
• Support additional quality activities as required
• Using inspection tools (e.g., verniers, micrometers, gauges)

Skills & Experience:

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise workload in a dynamic environment
• Solid background in quality engineering practices
• Extensive experience using standard measuring tools
• Experience inspecting aerospace components and associated documentation
• Basic computer literacy

Desirable skills for the Quality Inspector:

• Experience inspecting components using jigs and fixtures
• Knowledge of CMM or FARO inspection systems
