Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting for a Quality Inspector role in Redditch. You will perform First Off and Last Off inspections, and inspect parts with Keyence, lasers, CMM, shadow graphs and gauges to ensure compliance with specifications.

The position requires experience in QA roles within aerospace, automotive or defense manufacturing. Good knowledge of calibration control and incoming materials handling is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMM inspections and precision metrology.
• Proven ability to use handheld measurement devices accurately.
• Experience with laser measurement techniques.
• Background as a quality inspector/quality engineer or similar role.
• Time-served experience in Aerospace, Automotive or Defense Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Producing First Off & Last Off Inspection Reports.
• Inspecting parts using inspection equipment (Keyence, Lasers, CMM, Shadow Graphs, gauges).
• Control of incoming materials.
• Control of internal and external calibration.

Location: Redditch

Salary: Up to £35,000

Working hours: Monday to Thursday (8am - 5pm) Friday (8am - 1pm)

Role & Responsibilities

• Producing First Off & Last Off Inspection Reports


• Conducting part inspections using a variety of inspection equipment including; Keyence, Lasers, CMM, Shadow Graphs and various types of gauges


• Control of incoming materials


• Control of internal and external calibration

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Experience with CMM inspection


• Experience using handheld measurement equipment


• Laser measurement experience


• Worked as a quality inspector, quality engineer or in a similar role


• Time-served in Aerospace, Automotive or Defense Manufacturing
