My client is an established precision engineering manufacturer based in Birmingham and commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth.

They are currently looking for a skilled precision Quality Inspector to join their team.

The Role : Quality Inspector
  • Inspection of precision-machined components
  • CMM Operating (training can be provided)
  • Using a wide range of measuring tools and techniques
  • Working from drawings
  • Quality control of components
  • Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
  • Complies with all Company rules, including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements
Minimum Skills / Experience Required : Quality Technician
  • Experience in Quality Inspection on precision-machined components
  • CMM Operating experience - or keen to learn
  • Precision engineering and working to tight tolerances
  • Experience in the Aerospace or Motorsport industry, or another precision industry
  • Experience working from engineering drawings
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
  • Motivated and excellent team player
The Package : Quality Inspector
  • Starting rate up to £17 per hour, dependent on experience
  • Afternoon shifts are Mon - Thurs, 08 : 00-17 : 00 and Friday, 08 : 00-13 : 00
