A leading Global engineering company in Huddersfield is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage quality documentation and product certifications. The successful candidate will generate quality documentation, examine product certifications, and collaborate with Quality Engineering teams to drive improvements. The role offers 26 days annual leave, up to 8% employer contributions, and a chance to work in a dynamic engineering environment.

  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, material specifications, and applicable quality standards.
  • Capable of handling multiple quality documents and meeting strict deadlines efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Generate quality documentation and complete final product release approvals.
  • Examine and confirm product certifications for compliance with quality plans and engineering drawings.
  • Work closely with Quality Engineering teams to resolve technical compliance issues and drive process improvements.
  • Establish, manage, and continuously improve a standardised quality documentation framework.
  • Initiate, document, and monitor non-conformance reports through to closure.
  • Provide ongoing support to Quality department activities and continuous improvement programmes.
