Job summary

Spire Hale Clinic is seeking a part-time Quality and Governance Administrator to join the Clinical Governance team. You will support governance, quality and consultant compliance in a busy clinical setting.

Key duties include audits (AMaT), policy updates, DATIX monitoring, PSQR activities and admin for governance forums. The role requires good IT skills and healthcare experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Computer literate with demonstrable Word and Excel skills.
  • Educated to GCSE/GCE/CSE standard in English and Mathematics.
  • Articulate and compassionate with ability to build rapport with colleagues.
  • Able to analyse and solve problems.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under scope of competency.
  • Experience in healthcare setting is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and governance-related duties within the Clinical Governance team.
  • Assist with audits and monitor AMaT compliance on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Maintain and update local policies in the clinic database; support document control.
  • Support DATIX incident database monitoring and close-out reminders.
  • Assist with PSQR activities and preparation.
  • Provide admin support for clinical governance forums and meetings.

Quality and Governance Administrator | Hale Clinic| Part Time 0.5 FTE (18.75hrs per week)

Spire Hale Clinic have an exciting position for a well experienced Clinical Quality and Governance Administrator to join their Clinical Governance team on a part time basis.


Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

Reporting to the Clinical Governance Lead, you will assist and support with the administration and seamless service provided by this department in relation to governance, quality and consultant compliance.



  • Support the audit program including monitoring compliance with AMaT

  • Monitor and ensure the departments complete the AMaT audits each month and quarter

  • Ensure the Clinic database of local policies remain current and up to date, including supporting the Clinic teams with document control

  • To support the Clinical Governance Lead in monitoring compliance with the DATIX incident database including sending reminders and monitoring the close out of DATIX incidents and actions

  • Support the Clinic with PSQR activities/preparation

  • Provide administrative support for all key clinical governance forums

  • Attend the hospital's clinical governance meetings (Standards for Clinic Governance) and circulate the agenda, minutes and action trackers
